MULE KIDS CHAPS ARE MADE TO ORDER!
PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 10-15 BUSINESS DAYS TO COMPLETE!
**ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER 12/10/2019 CANNOT BE GUARANTEED FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY**
Mule Kids Chaps are similar to the Mule Plain Chaps...but smaller and without zippers in the legs. You can now customize Mule Kids Chaps any way you want!
Now you can take your little buddy to the field or your favorite fishing hole deep in the woods with confidence knowing your little buddy is protected from briars and brush will slide right off the chaps.
Pockets are included so they can be stuffed with a toy or snack. Mule Kids chaps are naturally water-resistant and can be kept so by applying a waterproof fabric spray after each cleaning.
A waterproof lining is available on any Mule Kids Chaps. The waterproof lining is an additional $5.
Camo pockets are available in pink camo, orange camo, or a natural camo and are just $5 additional (total).
Want zippers in the legs? No problem...this is also a special order and costs an additional $8.
Kids Chaps...family time outdoors just got better with MULE!
For the Perfect Fit...start here!
Thigh size: (first number in the chart)
Measure around thigh, at the crotch, over child's pants. We recommend adding 2" to that measurement. The 2" may seem rather big, but kids grow fast.
Inseam: (second number in the chart)
Measure
from the crotch to the ankle bone. Stop at the ankle bone. Do not
measure further because the chaps need to "hang" not fold on the top of
your shoes. Generally, the inseam length is 2" shorter than the child's
normal pant inseam length and you can use the EZ Measure way listed
below, just measure from crotch to ankle bone end to end.
EZ Measure: If
you do not have a tailor's cloth tape measure, measuring is easy: open
wallet, remove any denomination bill ($1, $5, $20...doesn't matter). A
dollar bill is 6" long. Place the bill around the widest part of child's
thigh over his/her pants and measure thigh end to end using dollar
bill, then add 2".
Example: If
the dollar bill, end to end, goes around child's thigh 3 times, that's
18", you would then add 2", making your chap thigh size a 20"...that's
the size you would order.
